Sample Additional Practice Exercise 1

Shade a different number of cubes in each row. Write the number of cubes shaded in each row. Circle the row of cubes that has more shaded.

A train of 5 cubes, circled. 4 cubes are colored. 4 is written. A train of 5 cubes. 2 cubes are colored. 2 is written.

Shade 0 to 5 cubes and write the number.

 

For example:

Shade 4 cubes. Write 4.

Shade 2 cubes. Write 2.

Circle 4 cubes.

Small Objects, Paper, Pencil

 

ACTIVITY

Show 2 groups of objects with up to 5 objects in each group. Have your child write the number for each group and tell which group has more.
