Count the counters and then practice writing the number that tells how many.

Dots are shown. The group shows, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot. The number 6 written 4 times, beside the dots.

Count the dots aloud: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Write 6 several times.

ACTIVITY

Draw groups of 6 and 7 circles on 2 index cards. Have your child write the correct number on the back of each card. Then use the cards to practice counting and reading the numbers 6 and 7.
