Count the dots, and then practice writing the number that tells how many.

Dots are shown. The group shows dot, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot, dot. The number 9 is written 5 times, beside the dots.

Count the dots: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. Write 9 several times.

ACTIVITY

Draw groups of 8 and 9 circles on 2 index cards. Have your child write the correct number on the back of each card. Then use the cards to practice counting and reading the numbers 8 and 9.
