Count the insects, then color a connecting cube for each insect. Show the same number of cubes as insects.

8 insects. 10 connecting cubes with 8 shaded.

Count the insects: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8. Shade 8 connecting cubes.

Small Objects, Pencil, Paper

 

ACTIVITY

Have your child count groups of 10 objects. Then have him or her draw pictures of 10 objects.
