Sample Additional Practice Exercise 1

Look at the solid shape. Think of the shapes you would make if you printed each flat surface of the solid. Put an X on any flat shape that is NOT part of the solid shape.

A triangular prism with an arrow pointing to a rectangle, a circle, and a triangle. The circle is crossed out.

The solid has sides that are rectangles and sides that are triangles, so you would print rectangles and triangles if you printed each flat surface of the solid. You would not print any circles.
