Listen to these numbers: “twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight, twenty-nine.” Circle the numbers in the chart that you hear, and then tell what is repeated in each number.

There is a pattern in the numbers twenty-six, twenty-seven, twenty-eight, and twenty-nine. They all include “twenty.” They are in the third row. Circle 26, 27, 28, and 29. The number 2 is repeated in each number.

ACTIVITY

Tell your child a number under 50. Ask him or her to count from that number up to 50. Repeat with different numbers.
