Color the boxes of the following decade numbers: “twenty, thirty, fifty, seventy, eighty, one hundred.”

Twenty, thirty, fifty, seventy, eighty, and one hundred are all decade numbers. Decade numbers end in zero and are in the last column of the chart. Color the boxes for 20, 30, 50, 70, 80, and 100.

Arrange 30 objects, such as pennies, beads, or other small objects, in groups of 10 on a table. Ask your child to use decade numbers to count the number of objects aloud. Repeat with up to 10 groups of objects.
