Sample Additional Practice Exercise 1

Circle the number eighty. Then color the boxes of the numbers as you count aloud, starting at eighty and ending at 99.

Circle 80. When you are at the end of a row and are counting forward, move up a row and all the way to the left. So, after 80, continue with 81. Then move to the right: 82, 83, 84, and so on. After 90, move up and left to 91. Then move to the right and stop at 99. Color the boxes as you count each number.

Hundred Chart

ACTIVITY

Point to a number on a hundred chart, such as 27. Have your child count from that number to another number you have chosen. Repeat with other numbers.
